In 2017, chef Darren Badenhorst left Grande Provence to open his own restaurant, Le Coin Français, in Franschhoek. The restaurant quickly gained a reputation for its delicious food and beautiful setting, and Badenhorst has been praised for his innovative take on French cuisine. Now, Badenhorst is preparing to launch a new menu that will showcase the best of local ingredients, combined with his signature French flair.
